Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 added a gun from Advanced Warfare that shoots laser beams. Although it falls under the Assault Rifle, the EX1 Energy Rifle is unlike any other weapon in the game and has several customization options. Here’s a guide to the best EX1 attachments and class to use in Warzone Pacific.

Best EX1 Loadout as an Assault Rifle

  • Muzzle: Coil Amp
  • Barrel: SD Instant Grat
  • Optic: SG16 2.5x
  • Stock: AC-Steady MAS
  • Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
  • Magazine: Royal-PV Cell Reserve Battery
  • Rear Grip: Hatched Grip
  • Perk 1: Frenzy
  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded

The attachments used here convert the EX1 Energy Rifle into an easy-to-control, close to mid range weapon with a fast fire rate. The gun is nothing special compared to the meta weapons like the UGM-8 and Nikita AVT, however, you’ll find the EX1 pretty fun to use due to its uniqueness as a laser gun.

Best EX1 Loadout as a Sniper Rifle

  • Muzzle: Coil AMP
  • Barrel: Charge AMP PV
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Stock: Removed Stock
  • Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
  • Magazine: Quantum High Voltage Battery
  • Rear Grip: Leather Grip
  • Perk 1: Spotter
  • Perk 2: On-Hand

To use this EX1 Sniper build effectively, you’ll have to hold down the fire trigger to charge your shot and then release it to shoot. This will feel unlike any other Sniper Rifle you’ve used, but the mechanic is extremely easy to get used to. You can also just tap fire but the damage per round will be very low.

Best EX1 Class Setup Warzone

  • Primary Weapon: PPSH-41 / H4 Blixen / Armaguerra 43
  • Secondary Weapon: EX1 Energy Rifle
  • Lethal: Semtex / Throwing Knife
  • Tactical: Stim
  • Perk 1: Serpentine
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Amped
