Popular eSports team Fnatic has just announced they’ll be partnering with three different colleges throughout the UK to support existing efforts and provide young gamers with a strong future.

Tech and specs are a large part of competitive eSports, but it’s constantly changing and improving, and even colleges could have a hard time keeping up. Adding more staff will naturally make a difference, but the discounts on Fnatic gear will help courses become better equipped for the actual industry.

Also, webinars with existing pros from Fnatic will definitely help provide a realistic sense of what to expect, mentally and physically, from the eSports field. There’s an enormous amount of pressure with countless fans watching and commenting, loads of travel and practicing, and more.

Casual and serious gamers alike will get a better idea of the demands and lifestyle, so they can determine if it’s really for them, just like any other college sport.

The official blog post also promises that there will be networking events between all of the participating colleges, and an exclusive Discord server that could offer unique opportunities and inside news. Also, Fnatic states that even more perks will be added over time.

While a career in eSports may seem odd for those outside the gaming industry, it has been booming for a long time and can make a big difference with real life opportunities.

Fnatic’s efforts to reach out to the UK and expand their foundation in eSports is an incredible gesture, and sure to inspire the next big stars across your favorite platforms and titles.
