Splatoon 3 is the third entry in the Splatoon series, Nintendo’s colorful multiplayer ink-based shooter. One of the main aspects of Splatoon is its motion controls, which allow players to fine-tune their aim. But some may not like motion controls and want to turn them off completely. This may leave you wondering how to disable motion controls in Splatoon 3.
How to disable motion controls in Splatoon 3
To turn off or on motion controls in Splatoon 3, press X to open the menu. Navigate to the Options tab with the R button. Go to the TV/Tabletop and Handheld Mode tab to completely turn off motion controls. Toggle the option for motion controls to turn them off. To turn them back on, return to this menu.
If you prefer to keep motion controls on and simply need to adjust the sensitivity, you can do in the same menu. This allows you to adjust the sensitivity of motion controls to suit your preferences better. We recommend heading into practice mode or the campaign to test out the best motion control settings.
Motion controls can be hard to get used to, but most of the top Splatoon players use motion controls as they allow for minute adjustments. It may take some time, but it is worth trying motion control and sticking with them to learn to use it.
