Xbox Game Pass is steadily featuring more and more Southeast Asian games in its lineup, with Toge Productions’ Coffee Talk being a more recent addition. After putting the Singaporean game Chinatown Detective Agency on the service, publisher Humble Games is putting more regional games in the limelight.
In addition to the other Humble Games titles that are already included in the Game Pass lineup, like Unpacking and Unsighted, players will now be able to experience even more highly-anticipated games made by indie developers around the world.
These include the Indonesian farming simulator Coral Island, an upcoming game that will surely resonate with fans of Stardew Valley. The game will be launching later in 2022, with Day One availability on Xbox and PC Game Pass.
For the uninitiated, Coral Island has players experiencing living on an enchanting island at their own pace, where they have to live off the land, nurture animals, build relationships with a diverse cast of townsfolk, and make the world around them a more vital and harmonious place.
Coral Island aims to spread awareness on ocean conservation by building important themes seamlessly into the core narrative and game loop, all while keeping it a wholesome good time for all.
Joining Coral Island is the upcoming Filipino turn-based rhythm RPG Infinite Guitars, where players control a party of musicians. In battle, players must dodge rhythm-based attacks and retaliate with electrifying guitar solos.
Created by Philippine-born game developer Nikko Ronsayro, the game is set in a world devastated by a great mech war. Infinite Guitars features vibrant anime-inspired art, beautiful environments, and an original, jam-worthy soundtrack.
Beyond these two upcoming to the Xbox Game Pass, Humble Games is also bringing in the challenging brawler Midnight Fight Express, 2D soulslike Moonscars, metroidvania Ghost Song, first-person shooter Prodeus, and survival horror game SIGNALIS.
