Everyone eagerly awaits whether the game will support cross platform or crossplay compatibility. Keep reading to determine whether the game can be played on different platforms and consoles.

F1 Manager 2022 is an exciting and adrenaline-pumping racing game developed and published by Frontier Developments on 1st August 2022. The game offers a more detailed career layer when compared with My Team mode. F1 Manager 2022 has countless new features on the dashboard, and enthusiasts will simply love it. These features include:

  • Real-life team radio from real Formula 1 drivers and staff
  • Realistic camera angles like the ones used for real races
  • True-to-life broadcasting presentation
  • Regulation changes can happen and affect the season

However, we want to know whether F1 Manager 2022 has crossplay or cross platform functionality, let’s find out.

Is F1 Manager 2022 crossplay?

The exciting news for Formula 1 fans is that F1 Manager 2022 supports crossplay! However, one thing you should never overlook here is that the cross platform play will not be available until sometime after the initial launch. The game’s Senior creative director explained the point of delay:

“The team we have partnered with to do the crossplay work were located in Ukraine. So, something that we could never foresee, unfortunately, meant that this is going to take a little bit longer than expected”.

With the crossplay feature in the game, players could freely race each other across PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Is F1 Manager 2022 cross gen?

The answer is Yes! F1 Manager 2022 is cross generation, and it sounds like the feature will be available from day one. Players are able to match up with other players on the same console family in online sessions. Similarly, players on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S versions of F1 manager 2022 will match up against each other.
