windows, microsoft, lies of p system requirements recommend rtx 2060/rx 6700; minimum requirements more reasonable

Lies of P Steam/Neowiz Games

Lies of P, the Souls-like action game inspired by Bloodborne, launches on all major platforms in 2023. While its arrival might be far away, the developer has revealed the system requirements for the PC version.

The minimum requirements are quite reasonable, whereas recommended requirements require an RTX card. As you expect from major games nowadays, Lies of P will only run on Windows 10 64-bit and support DX12. Anything lower just won’t do.

The minimum requirements suggest either an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or an Intel Core i5-7500 as CPU. You will need to pair it with either a Radeon RX 560 or a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti; both must be a 4 GB variant. The game will also require 8 GB of RAM.

Recommended requirements are where things change. For CPU, you should be good with either a Ryzen 5 3600 or a Core i7 8700. For GPU, you will need either a Radeon RX 6700 or a GeForce RTX 2060. The RAM requirements will also increase to 16 GB.

The developer didn’t reveal what resolution or frame rate we can expect from these requirements. We also don’t know how much free storage space will be required. I guess we will know more as we get closer to the release date.

MINIMUM

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 1200/Intel Core i5-7500
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 560 4 GB/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB
  • DirectX: Version 12

RECOMMENDED

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600/Intel Core i7 8700
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 6700/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
  • DirectX: Version 12

I find it weird that the developer revealed the requirements, but the release date is still unknown. You can’t even pre-order the game right now. But if you are interested in the game, you can now wishlist it on Steam, which mentions the system requirements.
