Chang’e

Chang’e is one of my favorite heroes to play when I start playing Mobile Legends. Her skills are simple to maneuver and are specifically friendly for those people with slow hands or fingers.

Due to the simplicity of her skills, you will often see this hero being picked by either your teammates or the enemy team.

Chang’e is a Mage, and Mages usually go to the Mid Lane during the early game. However, due to the versatility of her skills, players usually use her in Gold or EXP lanes as well.

In this article, we will specifically focus on the items that you should consider buying if you intend to use Chang’e in the Mid Lane.

Below is the best build for Chang’e!

Core Items of Chang’e

There are NO constant items per hero. Your items should either provide support for your teammates or counter the items or skills of the other team.

However, there are three items that Chang’e players usually prioritize more than others.

Ice Queen Wand

Ice Queen Wand

This item is best for magic heroes to increase their crowd control abilities. Basically, Ice Queen Wand slows enemies when your skills hit them. Aside from the slow effect, this item also provides magic lifesteal, which is good for Crescent Moon and Meteor Shower skills of Chang’e.

Glowing Wand

Glowing Wand

This item is best used for Magic heroes whose skills have multiple attacks in a short period of time. Just like Ice Queen Wand, this will specifically go well together with Crescent Moon and Meteor Shower skills of Chang’e.

If your enemy team has high HP (such as Tanks), this item can be very helpful to reduce their HP as the damage that it inflicts depends on the maximum HP of the enemy team. In other words, the greater the HP of the enemy team, the more serious will be the damage you inflict on them.

Genius Wand or Divine Glaive

Divine Glaive

Both of these items have magic penetration abilities. As Chang’e uses magic items, having magic penetration is a must, especially to “melt” down the Tank of the enemy team. You can choose both or either of them.

These are the core items of Chang’e that I highly advise you to prioritize, especially during your early to mid-game.

Other Must-Have Items When You Use Chang’e on Mid Lane

In my experience playing Chang’e, the items that you must have if you want to use her in Mid Lane are the core items. These are Ice Queen Wand, Glowing Wand, and Genius Wand and/or Divine Glave.

However, these are the other most common items that Chang’e players use when they want to go Mid Lane.

Enchanted Talisman

Enchanted Talisman

This item has two primary purposes. The first one is for mana regeneration. As a Magic hero, Chang’e needs mana to cast her skills. The second purpose of this item is to reduce the cooldown of skills.

Personally, this is the first item that I buy for Chang’e. What is my reason? Well, it is hard to use Mages when they don’t have enough mana.

Holy Crystal

Holy Crystal

This item increases the hero’s magic power by 21%~35%. This item is usually bought during the later part of the game.
