This includes dozens of films ranging from action films to anime, documentaries to dramas, and much more.
Netflix Spotlight: August 2022

White Noise is perhaps Netflix’s most anticipated upcoming film, and the newly released schedule has confirmed it will arrive on the streaming service on December 30. Starring Adam Driver, Greta Gerwig, Raffey Cassidy, and André Benjamin, the film follows an unconventional family’s escape from an impending apocalypse while dealing with the mundane conflicts of everyday life.
Arriving a little earlier in December, Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio will be available from December 9. The classic tale is reimagined in full stop-motion animation with voices from Ewan McGregor, Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton, and more.
Another new take on a classic story is returning in Roald Dahl’s Matilda: The Musical, which arrives on Netflix on December 25. The film is an adaptation of the Tony and Olivier award-winning stageplay with music from comedian and songwriter Tim Minchin and a cast that includes Emma Thompson, Lashana Lynch, Stephen Graham, Andrea Riseborough, and Sindhu Vee.
