Bandai Namco has today released PAC-MAN World Re-PAC, something it calls a “thoughtful remaster” of the 1999 classic 3D platforming adventure, offering an enhanced version of the game with HD visuals, various gameplay refinements, and more.
“As the arcade icon’s first foray into 3D gameplay, the original PAC-MAN World was a memorable moment for many PAC-MAN fans, and we’re proud to say PAC-MAN World Re-PAC lives up to that amazing legacy,” said Susan Tran, Sr. Director of PAC-MAN Brand Development. “PAC-MAN World Re-PAC is a joy for fans of all ages, bringing some of the most fun aspects and memorable elements from classic PAC-MAN, including those unforgettable sound effects, to create a one-of-a-kind modern platformer game.”
PAC-MAN World Re-PAC is out now for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, boasting a Quest Mode, Maze Mode, and the unlockable Original Mode, offering a range of different ways to play. Check out the launch trailer below.
