roccat reveals first mini gaming keyboard for new vulcan ii series

ROCCAT, Turtle Beach’s PC gaming peripherals brand, has announced their all-new Vulcan II Mini Optical-Mechanical PC Gaming Keyboard as the latest in their highly-lauded Vulcan series of keyboards. Furthering the capabilities of the already cutting-edge keyboard brand, the Vulcan II Mini evolves with groundbreaking features, including the world’s first “dual LED smart keys” and improved Titan II Optical switches. With a profile of 65% of the standard keyboard, this mini gaming keyboard still retains arrow keys while allowing plenty of desk space for large mouse movements.

As the first keyboard with Dual LED Smart Key technology, gamers can feel confident with their keystrokes in combination with the 30 multi-function smart keys that enable users to better visualize when the secondary functions are active. These smart keys combine ROCCAT’s EasyShift [+] functionality, where users can program their own second function layer, allowing the mini keyboard to retain a full keyboard’s functionality.

The new Titan II Optical Switches, another evolution for the brand, will deliver the same lighting fast actuation and 100 million keystroke durability rating. The switches are now also optimized for third-party keycap compatibility, with improved transparent housing and lubrication for even smoother movement.

Finally, PC gamers can customize their Vulcan II Mini with up to five profiles of custom RGB lighting and personal touches like cross-shaped mount keycaps or colorful custom USB-C cables (sold separately). The keyboard itself comes in Ash Black or Arctic White, which allows plenty of room for users to create their own style with their keyboard. ROCCAT’s AIMO RGB lighting technology produces vibrant lighting displays right out of the box and can sync with other compatible AIMO-enabled products. The Vulcan II Mini has double the RGB lighting refresh rate of standard gaming keyboards, producing smooth and vibrant effects for any colorful lighting lover.

The Vulcan II Mini is available for pre-order at www.roccat.com and participating retailers worldwide for $149.99 MSRP (£129.99/€149.99) and launches September 29. 2022. Check out the trailer below and keep an eye on GameTyrant for the latest in product and gaming news and reviews!
