sherlock holmes the awakened release window set for february 2023

Frogwares is wrapping up its Kickstarter campaign for Sherlock Holmes The Awakened, its remake of the 2007 title (following 2021’s Sherlock Holmes Chapter One), with a final push and the chance for three fans to receive a 152mm howitzer shell from the Ukrainian military’s 24th Separate Assault Battalion.

The shell will come with a custom message written on it, and can be yours if you share the link to Frogwares’ The Awakened Kickstarter page (full details can be found in the tweet below). Sherlock Holmes The Awakened reached its funding goal within six hours of going live, and its currently at 320% of its target. The campaign is due to end on 3rd September at 3:30pm CET.
“The overall outpouring of support and kind words for the team through this campaign has been overwhelming,” said Communications Lead Sergey Oganesyan. “All of our backers have given us something truly positive to focus on and a safety net that allows us to make the game at our own pace.  We will forever be indebted to these people who came to our side when it felt like our entire lives were falling apart.”

Producer Denys Chebotarov goes on to state that Sherlock Holmes The Awakened, which sees the sleuth and his partner Dr. Watson venturing into the realm of Eldritch cults and Lovecraftian cosmic horror, is targeting a February 2023 release for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
