First Dwarf is an upcoming action RPG adventure where you must travel to floating islands in search of resources and a place for your fellow dwarves to settle. Developed by Star Drifters on Unreal Engine 5, First Dwarf is coming to PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch in 2023.
The official announcement trailer for First Dwarf showcases the incredibly detailed open world, the dwarven engineer, Tru, and his friendly dragon, Ragna.
First Dwarf is an immersive action RPG that contains base-building elements. This game will test your exploration and survival skills in a fantasy, open-world environment on sprawling islands floating in the sky.
In this game, there is no more Planet Driftland as a war between mages and the four races has shattered the world into floating islands. The inhabitants, unfortunately, turned into barbarians. However, amongst the destruction and chaos, the dwarves prevailed. But with limited resources, the civilization is on its last legs. Airships were sent to the celestial islands to save the future of their race in the hopes of finding materials and resources.
Tru, one of the engineers, is sent to explore these new lands to uncover suitable settlement spots. He must gather resources, collect mana, build a base, fight against threats, and engage in combat. While doing so, he must learn his father’s secret, but uncovering the truth will change the course of the dwarven kingdom.
The key features of this game include:
- Mana-powered mechanical armor. Upgrade the armor to unlock new abilities that will assist you in finding new locations
- Build various structures to defend yourself and create a colony for your people.
- Fight barbarian tribes, creatures, and natural disasters to secure the area for your people.
- Play as Ragna, The Dragon, and help your dwarven main character explore these new lands.
