tactics ogre: reborn launching november 11

Check out this new game. Square Enix

Square Enix revealed that its upcoming game Tactics Ogre: Reborn is scheduled to be released this November 11. This reimagined version of the tactical RPG Tactics Ogre is going to be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.

Tactics Ogre: Reborn offers players beautifully converted high-definition graphics along with updated battle systems. There are also improvements made to the sound like the fully-voiced cutscenes for both English and Japanese. Meanwhile, the sound effects have been recreated with the live background music composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto re-recorded live.

Tactics Ogre: Reborn is set in The Valerian Isles, the jewels of the Obero Sea. After years of conflict, peace and prosperity finally came to Valeria through Dorgalua Oberyth, also known as the Dynast King. However, after his death, civil war erupts with three warring factions now fighting for power.

In the game, players follow the story of Denam Pavel, a young man caught at the center of the bloodshed. While he seeks a path of freedom and justice, Pavel soon discovers that even if the goals are noble, there is still a need for impossibly difficult decisions.

Players take control of a team of units on the battlefield and use a turn-based combat system to act strategically and get the upper hand against the enemy. As players progress, they can recruit additional party members and gain access to various classes, weapons, magic, and abilities.

Pre-Order

Pre-orders for the game are now being accepted. Those who pre-order the Standard Edition get the Tactics Ogre: Reborn Digital Mini Soundtrack Download Code. It includes a selection of three songs from the official soundtrack, all composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto and recorded live.

There is also the Digital Premium Edition which has the base game and full soundtrack. Those who pre-order this edition get the Tactics Ogre (1995) Digital Mini Soundtrack Download Code, which comes with 10 chiptune songs from the original title released in 1995.

Meanwhile, players in Japan can also pre-order the Tactics Ogre: Reborn Tarot Card. This is a three-piece tarot card set that is part of the Collector’s Edition. In addition to the tarot card deck, it also has a storage pouch and a mat.
