The original Digimon or Digital Monster v-pets will be rereleased with a number of updates including the Digimon Sprites now being in color.

The first v-pet is called Digimon Color 1, which comes in the colors red and blue, and the second is called Digimon Color 2 which comes in black and white models.

This was announced in a new tweet from the Japanese Digimon Twitter Account:

“After 25 years, “Digital Monster” is now vividly revived. “DIGITAL MONSTER COLOR” and “DIGITAL MONSTER COLOR Ver.2″ are scheduled to be pre-ordered from 16:00 today!”

These are the original evolution trees for the first two Digimon v-pets. Digimon Color 1 has Agumon and a rookie evolition and Digimon Color 2 has Gabumon.

These new Color v-pets will add three mega-stage Digimon to the evolution lines. The Digimon Color 1 with Agumon will gain Chaosdramon, Banchomamon, and brand-new Digimon ShinMonzeamon.

The Digmon Color 2 with Gabumon will now include SkullMammothmon, CresGarurumon, and Ebemon.

You can pre-order the Digimon v-pet color on the Premium Bandai Namco Japanese Store.

There have been a lot of new Digimon v-pet devices released in the last couple of years. In addition to the Digimon Color, we have also seen new DIM Cards and the new Vital Bracelet BE Model.
