Wondering what the answer to today’s Nerdle is? Don’t worry – we’ve got you covered.
First came Wordle, and then Nerdle. While Wordle tasks players with guessing a five-letter word each day in six attempts, Nerdle challenges you to guess a mathematical equation. It’s very tricky, particularly if you’re not numbers-oriented. If you’re struggling with today’s Nerdle answer on 1 September, let us help.
The solution, for example, could be 1+4+7=12. There are always eight numbers or symbols in there, and it’s always a correct, complete sum. The best course of action, then, is to input a sum to begin with that uses as many unique numbers as possible.
It’s always helpful to get two different signs in there too, for instance one + and one -. It makes it easier to narrow down future guesses.
For each guess that you make, the numbers you input are colour-coded. If a number (or symbol) appears in the answer but is in the wrong spot, it’ll show up in purple. If it’s correct and in the right place, it’ll be green. A black number of symbol means it’s not in the answer at all.
Essentially then, each guess should bring you a little closer to figuring out the real answer. But it’s not always easy. And so if you need help solving today’s Nerdle answer, that’s where we come in.
