windows, microsoft, zero escape: zero time dilemma unfolds on xbox and pc

It wasn’t that long ago that we got the chance to take in Zero Escape: The Nonary Games on Xbox. It was a game that was full of great puzzles, a deeply engaging story and a huge branching narrative. At times it felt like a movie playing out, but we were more than happy to let that slide. Now though it’s time for another Zero Escape offering as Zero Time Dilemma releases on Xbox and PC.

Available right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC through the Windows 10 Store, Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma is Spike Chunsoft’s latest and greatest; a game in which you’ll find yourself thrust into a tense adventure, left to escape by any means possible.

It’s priced nicely at £14.99 and is seen as the third game in the Zero Escape saga, following on from that found in The Nonary Games.

As a series, it’s pretty much acclaimed for its storytelling of an unpredictable nature, bringing together all manner of elements – sci-fi, experimentation, the occult, philosophical issues and more. Drop in a twist and a turn to the narrative and it’s all set up neatly.

Zero Time Dilemma works those same angles. This sees nine participants wake up in a facility, with a strange black bracelet slapped on their wrists. From there, a game of consequence plays out – once six are dead, the escape hatch will open. The question is, who lives and who dies!?

With characters popping up from the games that came before it, with full voice and animation in tow, along with the chance to jump between characters as you see fit, should you have enjoyed what played out in The Nonary Games, then you’ll be at home here.

Key game features include:

  • Think Your Way Out
  • Explore 3-D environments for clues to solve mind-bending puzzles and escape your prison.
  • Decision Game Question your morality in a series of life-or-death decisions where even the best option carries horrifying implications.

Go and grab Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma from the Xbox Store right now. And stick around for a review from us soon too.

Game Description:

The experiment wasn’t supposed to be like this. Nine participants awaken in an underground facility, imprisoned with a strange black bracelet on their wrists. To escape, they must play a game with deadly consequences. The rules are simple–after six people are killed, the escape hatch will open. Who will live, and who will die? The choice is yours. Let the Decision Game begin…
